Byteport is for teams moving files large enough that ordinary TCP transfer time, unreliable networks or custom connector work is becoming an operational constraint. Its buyer is not looking for a prettier upload button; it needs dependable movement across cloud, on-prem, hybrid or air-gapped environments.

## What it does

Byteport’s DART protocol is positioned as a faster transport layer for 1GB to 100TB files across AI, robotics, satellite, enterprise and defense workloads. The current site says it can deploy into existing networks and handle data between any source and destination, including intermittent or high-latency environments. The advantage is deployment breadth. A robotics team can move sensor data, a satellite operator can move imagery, and an AI team can shift datasets or model artifacts without building a new transfer service for each environment. Byteport says it supports on-prem,
