Curo is a historical fleet-charging company now listed as acquired. It is useful as a product and market record, not as a standalone current-vendor recommendation.

## What it built

[Curo’s YC profile](https://www.ycombinator.com/companies/curo) describes a fleet-charging and parking marketplace: fleet operators lease underused charging spaces when they need them, creating a “virtual depot” without building a traditional depot at every location.

The current [Curo homepage](https://www.curocharging.com/) still presents the product around two sides of the market. Fleets get dedicated Level 2 and DC fast charging, overnight access, consolidated payments and available locations. Site hosts turn underused parking and charging infrastructure into revenue, with Curo handling billing, monitoring and network access.

The old YC launch record describes the same basic wedge in more detail: use existing charging locations during low-utilization periods so fleets can park and charge without waiting for new
