## What it does

Digipals is building an AI-native group-chat layer for real-world social coordination. Its public launch description imagines a “digipal” that can use a group’s location, calendar, relationship history and photos to suggest a time, find a nearby place, make a reservation, split a receipt and prompt friends to save the memory afterward. The [YC profile](https://www.ycombinator.com/companies/digipals) calls this a social operating system; the company homepage was fetched but exposed no additional readable product detail in the bounded source set.

The fit is a friend group that already coordinates in chat but loses energy to logistics. Digipals is not trying to win by adding another feed. Its wedge is turning the group chat into an action surface: restaurant, movie, travel, bill-splitting and other widgets appear when the conversation needs them. That is a clear product idea, but it also raises a high bar for permissions, trust and network adoption.
