## What it does

Prana is building an always-on primary-care service that connects medical records and wearables, watches for “clinical drift,” explains labs and routes care to human doctors when needed. The [YC profile](https://www.ycombinator.com/companies/prana-health) describes a full-stack medical provider rather than a standalone health chatbot: AI handles history, logistics and triage while physicians focus on higher-leverage decisions.

The fit is a person who wants continuous monitoring between visits and is willing to use a hybrid AI/doctor model. The product is not a replacement for emergency care or a general answer engine. Its value depends on data quality, appropriate escalation and a clear boundary between monitoring, clinical advice and prescription management.
