## What it does

Ralo’s current homepage shows live-looking rate comparisons, a pricing engine, quote reading and a one-form application that can send a borrower to multiple lenders. The rate display is specific rather than universal. The checked page used a $750,000 loan, 75% loan-to-value, 780+ FICO and a primary residence. It displayed 30-year fixed, 15-year fixed and 5/6 ARM examples and identified the benchmark dates and inputs. The page explicitly says the numbers are sample rates, not loan approval, a rate lock or a commitment.

That is the right level of caution for mortgage software.
